There’s a great power in words if you don’t hitch too many of them together.

Congratulations, you wrote the copy. Chances are you’re now worried that it’s not ready for your audience. Indeed, your draft could always use fresh eyes.
My editing service reviews copy prior to publishing. I flag what needs fixing and make suggestions for the first draft and subsequent revisions, including some research and fact checking if needed. As your editor, I look at one or all of the following:
- Structure: how the ideas are organized
- Clarity: how clear your message is for your audience
- Grammar: how effective and correct the sentence structure is
- Accuracy: how you’ve researched and verified key information
My Saada STYLO editing rates depend on the type of editing requested, the scope of your project, its complexity, the timeline and your requirements. Here’s my general guide; applicable HST not included.
Hourly Rate – structural and/or copy editing or proofreading of projects such as press releases, articles, brochures and web copy. A one-hour minimum fee applies. Package deals are available.
Flat Rate – labour-intensive projects requiring several weeks of team work such as publishing book manuscripts, reports, copy for medium- to large-sized websites and academic essays.
