Saada STYLO ©design by Roger Branker

We write to taste life twice.                   – Anaïs Nin, writer & diarist (1903-1977)

Saada is my name. In Swahili it means help and in Arabic it means happiness.

Stylo (pronounced Steel-O) is:

A) an Italian word for fashion

B) your swagger

C) a French word for pen

D) a harmless growth on the inner eyelid

Answer: C

A pen–that’s what  Stylo means in French and I have several in hand. I also have style guides, a dictionary, software, and years of experience researching, editing and writing.

Forget: la plume de ma tante. Your aunt is family.  Unless she writes, she won’t work copy as thoroughly as I do.
